Computer Lab Rules and Regulations
Access to the room and equipment is under
control of the monitors on duty. Monitors are members of the Computer Club who
are volunteering their time.
Those who wish to use the equipment are required to be members of the Sunland
Springs Village Computer Club. They may be accompanied by a potential member who
can observe only. Use of the equipment is limited to members of the club.
Members will be required to show their SSV name tags. The names will be checked
against the current membership list of the club. Members must also
complete sign-in procedures.
Use of the equipment will be limited to 30 minutes per session if other
interested members are waiting.
Members may not load or download software but they may use their own storage
media. For privacy reasons no data should be left on the computers. Users must
sign out of personal e-mail accounts and close all programs being used at the
end of their session.
Members who wish to use the printer will be charged .10 per sheet for black and
white and .25 per sheet for color copies. For color photos provide your own
photo paper and pay a surcharge of .50 for additional ink used.
Food and beverages may not be brought into the computer room. Cell phone use
should be limited to brief outgoing calls.
Monitors are required to protect all equipment and insure that unwanted data is
purged from the equipment at the end of each session. Please cooperate in
accomplishing this important task.
